Every handset has a calculator, maybe it can only calculate basic operations such as plus and multiply which is far from useful, or it is complicated with too many buttons which makes your head explode.
handyCalc is a calculator, too. But it will redefine your impression to the word “calculator”.
- It is designed to be easy to use.
- It is more powerful than any calculator you’ve seen on your handset.
- It is humanized to understand what you really want.
So this tutorial simply contains three parts.
The following screenshots shows you what handyCalc is capable of. Just click on them and I’ll show you how to make it work.

I can’t find handycalc on android market. How can I get a copy?
neither do I, how can I get another one?, I’m using an android emulator, and I will be an android user, thank you very much
gr8 app… Hats off to you…It would be nice if you concentrate on core functionality instead of fancy animation…
-Low RAM capacity fellow

I also cannot find handyCalc on my android market (here in Germany, where the market does exist). I’m using a G1, seems to work fine.
Any chance of simply getting the app file itself somewhere?
I can’t find it on the market, probably because of my HTC Tattoo’s different screen size. Can we expect an update for screen size compatibility, or at least a link to apk to try if it works?
i can find it. i’m in u.s. you can find it on appbrain.com also
WTF…I hat people making non inuitive sites that doesnt give what it advertizes…. F U ….
Fu , i just install it from market. use your brain to search it.
also hate cheap keboards that doesnt actually type keys pressed…..
I want radix calculations.
ex. 0xF + 10 = 25 (0×19)
I love this calculator. I was wondering if there is a way to do calculations with matrices?
It’s absolute awsome. Thank you !!
Matrices and Vektors would be great too.
… and complex Calculations
Se puede descargar para que funcione en un movil HTC Kaiser, me gustaria en espaƱol
Really great app. Thank you.
Is there a way to clear the history (android, htc desire). I can’t find it. I’ve looked in the menu, preferences, help an tutorial.
You did a fine job with HandyCalc. Is there a way to delete a single page? I’ve looked through the site and watched the videos, but haven’t found an answer. I sent you a small donation as a thank you for responding to my question.
Hi Michael,
Sorry you cannot delete a page. But you can create a new document in MENU->Documents->New.

Hi.
I found your program very usefull. But I can say what it doesn’t have (but, I think, must have).
This is a ’round’ function. Could you add this in it?
Oh, almost forgot.
I think the addition of the ‘truncating’ function would be usefull too.
Thanks.
Awesome app!
I’m using it on my tablet, so it’s a bit
dumb that the calculator only works in portrait
and not in landscape mode, but the graph plotter
does it job in landscape too …
It would be great if you could add this function!
Thanks in advance,
Papierkorb
This app is very impressive! I’ve got a PhD in maths so I think I know what I’m talking about. This is for people looking for more than just a standard calculator. You call it version 0.51. You must have big plans!
Hmm, I have one problem, where is the menu button, I cant get there, I dont see it, pressing the icon just make blue aura and do nothing so is
I have HTC Sensation XE
no, find it, the mobile menu button, never worked on any app which I have before, so I dont even try it
