- use database instead of files to manage the pages
- press enter key to show the result directly
- menu shortcut, like Menu+C to copy, Menu+V to paste
- use system clipboard, now you can copy and paste formulas into text format
- keypad visibility in both landscape and portrait mode.
- zoom mode and goto function
- support for non-decimal bases (hex, octal, binary)
- multiplication symbol on the G1 keyboard (×)
- updated demo (help->demo)
- factory reset in preference’s menu
- improvements to make handyCalc more easier and more stable
handyCalc is free, but i haven’t decided to open source yet.

I’m really happy with handyCalc and think it’s a fantastic program. I would think it was even more fantastic if there was a way to do something like:
25 km/h * 25 min = 10 25/60 km
Basically calculations involving numbers with units attached that does intelligent unit cancellation and conversion.
It would be awesome if you could have it do factor things out, like (x-10)(x-4), or do probability stuff, unless it already can, im still learning how to use it 🙂
OMG why is this no longer in the android market? Couldn’t find it by name or by scrolling through every app in the productivity calculator. This is a hundred times better than any of the other calcs in the market, even if it has a few glitches in the demo like it fails on the date calculations. I found it on Softpedia.
It hasn’t been available on Android Market for about a week now.
This app has only one problem.
It should be called ‘BrilliantCalc’

I love the HandyConverter, but I think there is a problem with the convertions in the Fuel Consumption section. I have noticed that if I am converting from km/L to say L/100km I dont get the correct answer. eg. if I enter 17 km/L I get 1700 L/100km
it should be 5.88 L / 100km.
It would be nice if it were possible to select a few conversion results to always have displayed. As I live in Ireland we use km/L or L/100km and would also like to have mpg (UK)on the display at all times and not have to scroll down to find the answer.
