Every handset has a calculator, maybe it can only calculate basic operations such as plus and multiply which is far from useful, or it is complicated with too many buttons which makes your head explode.

handyCalc is a calculator, too. But it will redefine your impression to the word “calculator”.

  • It is designed to be easy to use.
  • It is more powerful than any calculator you’ve seen on your handset.
  • It is humanized to understand what you really want.

So this tutorial simply contains three parts.

  1. Basic input and calculation
  2. Advanced mathematica calculation
  3. Useful tricks

The following screenshots shows you what handyCalc is capable of. Just click on them and I’ll show you how to make it work.

I also cannot find handyCalc on my android market (here in Germany, where the market does exist). I’m using a G1, seems to work fine.

Any chance of simply getting the app file itself somewhere?

  5. bgr says:

I can’t find it on the market, probably because of my HTC Tattoo’s different screen size. Can we expect an update for screen size compatibility, or at least a link to apk to try if it works?

You did a fine job with HandyCalc. Is there a way to delete a single page? I’ve looked through the site and watched the videos, but haven’t found an answer. I sent you a small donation as a thank you for responding to my question.

    • handycalc says:

      Hi Michael,

Sorry you cannot delete a page. But you can create a new document in MENU->Documents->New.

      Regards

      mmin

Please add the capacity to delete single pages in order to keep documents organized. I usually build functions just to make calculations in my work and almos every time I use it creates a new page in the document I saved, at the end ofthe day, the document isa Mess and itwoul be good to keep it clean for future usage. Thanks

    Hi.
I found your program very usefull. But I can say what it doesn’t have (but, I think, must have).
This is a ’round’ function. Could you add this in it?

  15. Andrew says:

    Oh, almost forgot.
I think the addition of the ‘truncating’ function would be usefull too.
    Thanks.

    Awesome app!
I’m using it on my tablet, so it’s a bit
dumb that the calculator only works in portrait
and not in landscape mode, but the graph plotter
does it job in landscape too …
It would be great if you could add this function!

    Thanks in advance,
    Papierkorb

This app is very impressive! I’ve got a PhD in maths so I think I know what I’m talking about. This is for people looking for more than just a standard calculator. You call it version 0.51. You must have big plans!

  21. Greetings! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering
which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with
hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.

I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a
    good platform.
